Grocery List

I thought it might be helpful to see a list of my personal "Must Have" Grocery Items.  Things I love to use, can't live without or favorite finds.  I bolded items I use the most (ie the ones I start to panic about when I start to run low)


PANTRY:

 Dry Beans:  Black, White/Northern, Kidney, Lentils


 Grains:  Rolled Oats, Brown Rice, Cous-cous, Quinoa, Panko Bread Crumbs, Corn Meal, Whole Wheat Pastry Flour (right now I just have WWF but you really want it to be Pastry Flour), Spelt Flour, Wheat Berries


 Multigrain Pasta:   Penne, Macaroni


 Sweeteners:  Truvia, Raw Honey, Agave Nectar, Brown Rice Syrup, Organic Sucanat, Molasses


 Oils:  Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), Coconut Oil, Toasted Sesame


 Vinegars:   White, Balsamic, Rice, Apple Cider


 Chocolates:  Cocoa Powder, Carob Powder


 Canned Food:  Chickpeas, Corn, Tuna, Salmon, Diced Tomatoes, Diced Tomatoes with Chilis, Tomato Paste, Tomato Sauce, Pumpkin, Fruits (read the label)


 Snacks:  Popcorn Kernals, Annie's Cheddar Bunnies, Gram Crackers, Tortilla Chips, Raisins, Multi-Grain Cherrios


 Raw Un-Salted Nuts & Seeds:  (sometimes I keep these in the fridge or freezer) Sunflower, Emerald's Natural Walnuts & Almonds 100 Calorie Pack, Cashews, Pecans, Pumkin (aka pepitas), Chia seeds, Ground Flax Seed 


 Spices & Herbs:  Kosher Salt, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ginger, Basil, Oregano, Thyme, Parsley, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Paprika, Chili Powder, Nutritional Yeast....You know what? Buy all the spices you like. :)


 Drink Mixes:  Assorted Tea Bags




FRIDGE / FREEZER:

 Dairy / Non-Dairy:  Almond Milk, 1% Milk (for Kai & the Hubs), Skim Milk (for making yogurt), Cottage Cheese, Cream Cheese, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spread & Spray (I'm certain I could find something better but I don't use butter very often at all so until we run out I'm not looking to buy something new), Parmesan Cheese, String Cheese, American, Shredded Mozzarella, Shredded Cheddar-Jack, Feta Crumbles


 Juice:  Check the ingredients - no added sugars / nothing ending with -ose


 Frozen Veggies:  Brocolli, Coliflower, Green Beans, Carrots, Corn, California Mix, Spinach, Shelled Edamame, anything...


 Frozen Fruits:  any & all (I'll often buy over ripened and make my own)


 Juice:  no added sugars


 Bread:  Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted tortillas & English Muffins


 Others:  Minced Garlic, UN-Sweetened Apple Sauce, Tamari Sauce, Liquid Smoke, Almond Butter, Jelly (1st ingredient MUST be fruit and no corn syrup), Tofu, 100% Maple Syrup, Eggs, Dijon Mustard, Yellow Mustard


 Produce:  Kale, Spinach, Green Onions, Lettuce, Cabbage, Bell Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Tomatoes, Carrots, Small Potatoes, Eggplant, Beets, Brussels Sprouts, Sweet Potatoes Bananas, Cucumber, Squash, Corn, Apples, Avocado, Grapes, Oranges, Grapefruit, Pears, Lemons, Limes, Kiwi, Strawberries, Blue Berries, etc...  Just go crazy...Buy organic & local when you can. :)
